Fitness expert Nina Winkler lets you know that the deep postural and supporting muscles need to be activated in order to perform this exercise cleanly. Abdominals and particularly the back reap the benefits, as the center of the body becomes more toned and posture improves along with coordination and balance. The training also includes short stretching elements.
